1.)What services do you offer?
I offer a full range of services to fit all of your decorating needs. No job is too big or too small. We can start from scratch or simply redo and refresh any room in your home. I can work in any home, any business and with almost any budget. I truly believe that everyone deserves great design! In addition to room design and redesign, I also offer personal shopping, move-in specials, real estate staging, home organization, parties and holiday decorating.
2.)What is the difference between Interior Decorating and Interior Redesign?
Traditional Interior Decorating operates on the principles of replacing what you already own, which can be great, but requires larger purchases of furniture and accessories. Interior Redesign is about using what you already have, your personal treasures, and artfully rearranging them to be beautiful and functional without the larger price tag of a start from scratch design. During a Redesign the space is emptied and furniture and accessories are brought back in to best fit the space. The decorator may also "shop your home" to find the perfect accessories and other items to give the room that pulled together designer look!
3.)Can anyone afford a decorator?
Of course they can! These days there are so many options. You can start from scratch or simply use what you already have in ways you might not have thought of using it. I believe everyone deserves to have the home of their dreams and by using insider secrets and tricks of the trade I can work with almost any budget to make that happen.
4.)How long will a one day room makeover take?
A typical redesign (one day room makeover) takes three to four hours. The more knick-knacks, furniture and treasures you have, the longer it takes. The good news is, I don't charge by the hour.
5.)What if I don't like the one day room makeover?
People are creatures of habit and change can sometimes take getting used to. I always suggest you live with it for at least a week and then if you are still unhappy, I'll be glad to come back once and tweak the room. Any additional services beyond this would be performed at your cost. During the initial consultation, it is important that you answer questions the best you can so that I can tailor your living space to accommodate your needs and visions.
